The project consisted of the upgrading in excess of 100m of conveyor to a Bosch TS Plus heavy duty conveyor, which allowed the incorporation of new process stations for a recently developed GNS (Gearbox Neutral Sensor) in the gearbox. A Load Station and Repair Loop were also installed to the production line which gives the plant greater flexibility for loading and repairing of gearboxes which do not meet their strict quality checks.
Conveyor speed; 9 meters / min.
Production target: 240 gearboxes / shift.
Project Description
Dynamo Engineering undertook the front end planning, project management and subsequent site installation of this highly complex and technically challenging upgrade to an existing production line during a 3 week shutdown; minimising downtime and disruption to the plant. Utilising our inhouse expertise this project was delivered on-time and within budget with no safety incidents. Dynamo Engineering & Expert Site Assist are pleased with the Client’s positive feedback, exceeding project targets and look forward to future joint ventures.
