Dynamo Engineering are pleased to announce the successful completion of the design, manufacture and installation of another belt trimming device at a belt manufacturing plant in Dumfries.
After this new client found us through our website, they approached Dynamo Engineering with a scope to design a belt cutting device which could be integrated in to their belt grinding process, which would in turn, eliminate the need for the material to be transported to another machine in the factory for this process therefore reducting production time and ulimenately costs.
Dynamo undertook research and development and during this process a prototype was manufactured. 3D CAD was used to optimise the design. The CAD files were then exported to a CNC milling machine where by a block of Aluminum was milled. Festo Pneumatic rotary and slide cylinders were used and the pneumatic control panel was designed by Dynamo as a stand-alone machine add only requiring a latched signal from the grinding machined PLC to commence trimming sequence.
