Dynamo Engineering are pleased to announce the successful completion of works on an existing material handling system, consisting of the reconfiguration of a pneumatic conveyor, drop link conveyor and the installation of a new tubular drag conveyor, for a large activated carbon manufacture in Glasgow

Process flow changes had to be undertaken to allow trials to be carried out on a new product. The current kiln feed and discharge Redler en-masse and dynamic air pneumatic conveyor system had to be reconfigured and a new Spiroflow link and pin, tubular drag conveyor was to be installed. Modifications to existing access platforms and stairways also had to be made to accommodate the new position of the kiln feed conveyor.
Project Description
Dynamo Engineering undertook the project from the initial customer enquiry, through re-design, repositioning and modifications to existing conveyors and the installation of a new tubular conveyor system and all associated access and support steelwork.Engaging our wealth of experience and utilising our dedicated team of engineers whilst cooperating with electrical, pipe work and cranage contractors, this project was completed within the required timeframe. Dynamo Engineering are pleased with the Client’s positive feedback and the results from trials within the new system and look forward to working together on future projects.
